Description: I found this well researched glossary of coffee related terms on the Lucidcafe Website, that is “serving Coffee, Art, History and Literature Lovers on the World-Wide-Web since 1995”. Lucidcafé is operated by Robin Chew. A must visit for coffee lovers!

Example term: musty
An odor taint giving the coffee beans a moldy odor. Result of fats in coffee beans absorbing organic material from molds on or in contact with the coffee beans during the drying process. Often the result of insufficient or proper drying and aging.
