UNECE Glossary of Gender Statistics Terms

Understanding gender equality is a human rights issue the UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) established a Gender Statistics Website with the aim to “bring together both gender statistics and policies. Focus is on the production, dissemination and use of gender related data.”

This mid-sized glossary explains terminology related to statistics as well as several terms coming from gender equality discussion.
